It deserves its 5 stars. Visited their restaurant Our Dog Friday couple of times. The owner is friendly. This hotel offers VERY GOOD breakfast we had in weeks.

Host was best. Was an excellent base for trip. Well maintained gardens, the place is 1 km away from the Lake Tekapo downtown. It is adjacent to the airport.
